Stately, Extendable French Louis Philippe-style Oval Table
Large extendable oval French table from the second half of the 1800s, made of mahogany. Of particular interest is the perimeter band, embellished with a delicate decorative border and small ornamental details. The table rests on an intricate base composed of numerous turned and fluted legs, which are slender and richly carved, ending in elegant feet fitted with casters, making it easy to move despite its substantial size.
Price includes restoration and replacement of extension leaves.
