A charming and unusual English walnut billiards-themed inkstand, dating from circa 1900.
Modelled in the form of a miniature billiards table, the rectangular walnut base is raised on four turned legs and fitted with a green baize-lined playing surface. The top is furnished with a pair of substantial cut-glass inkwells, each with a faceted hinged lid and metal collar, positioned to either side of the table.
