The year is 1902. Gathered at the café “L’Abeille,” at the foot of Suquet Hill, a dozen artists decided to form a group, work together, and exhibit their works once a year. The group quickly began organizing major annual Salons and international exhibitions that marked the cultural season and attracted winter visitors to the French Riviera.
