The brooch dates from around 1920–1930. It bears the eagle-head hallmark. The tortoise is set with old-cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.8 to 2.0 carats, and its eyes are adorned with small sapphires. The blue enamel shows slight signs of wear, as shown in the photos. It weighs 12.5 g.
