Set Of Six Tommy St. Louis Roemer Glasses In Multicolored Crystal
A superb set of six Roemer crystal glasses from the Saint-Louis crystal glassworks, Tommy model.
Reflecting the manufacturer’s craftsmanship, these glasses feature diamond, almond, fillet, cord, and pearl cuts on the bowl, as well as a star-shaped stem.
The model was created in 1928 for a dinner hosted by President Albert Lebrun in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, in honor of the British allies from World War I, whose soldiers were affectionately nicknamed “Tommies.”
Each glass is a different color: cobalt blue, green, ruby red, amethyst, turquoise, and yellow.
The set offers beautiful harmony and luminous reflections, clearly visible in the photos.
The Saint-Louis stamp is present on the underside of the glasses.
Items are in perfect condition—no cracks or chips.
