Augis - Love Medal In Gold, Ruby, And Diamond
An 18-karat yellow gold "Medal of Love" signed by the famous Augis house.
On the front, the inscription reads “+ qu’hier et – que demain.”
The “+” is adorned with a diamond, and the “-” with two rubies.

This well-known expression among romantic lovers is a line from a poem by Rosemonde Gérard dedicated to her husband, Edmond Rostand. It was made famous by Alphonse Augis, a jeweler from Lyon who, in 1907, had the idea to create a medal engraved with this verse. This phrase has since become a powerful symbol.
