Rare medal from the House of Augis in Lyon, crafted in 18-karat yellow gold and set with four diamonds and three calibrated Verneuil rubies. The medal is encircled by a ring of calibrated Verneuil rubies. Inscription: "More than yesterday, Less than tomorrow." The diamond setting is in 18-karat white gold. French work from the 1960s. Medal signed: A.A. Maker's mark and Eagle's Head hallmark (18-karat gold). Gross weight: 4 grams. Unengraved back. Diameter (excluding bail and ring): 2 cm. The medal is in excellent condition.
