The artist presents a beautiful composition that highlights each object arranged arounda white ceramic dish filled with fruit ready to be eaten.
We can see the turquoise-blue Chinese porcelain as well as a magnificent “bierkrug.”

Born in Pouilly-sur-Saône in 1869, Léonce Pelletier was a Post-Impressionist painter trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Dijon and in Gustave Moreau’s studio in Paris, where he studied alongside Henri Matisse.
For a time, he taught drawing at the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Nice.
Léonce Pelletier was a painter of landscapes, still lifes, and genre scenes.

His paintings regularly sell successfully at auction.
