Gilded Bronze Louis XVI-style Photo Or Miniature Frame For Hanging, Circa 1900, Ref. 1213
A square-shaped frame designed to be hung; the window is circular. The entire piece is made of gilded bronze in the Louis XVI style, decorated with fillets, bows, and ribbons against a beige satin background. The top is adorned with a bouquet of flowers resting on facing foliage scrolls. A hanging loop is soldered to the back of the frame.
Date: circa 1900.
Condition: good—in the condition in which it was found; the satin is stained toward the bottom.
