Rare chandelier attributed to Bagues in the shape of a nave with 4 lights, with a metal frame and richlyadorned with pearls, flowers, prisms, crystal drops forming the hull, the mastand the two sails of the boat. Twolight-arms illuminate each side of the hull.

Art light creator, Baguès wasfounded by Noël Baguès around 1840 in Auvergne. Specialized in liturgicalbronzes, the company grew at the end of the 19th century and started to makelighting bronzes, thanks to the generalization of electricity. In the 1920s,Baguès created his own models in fine ironwork.
