Ceiling Light with Blue and Clear Crystals featuring a classic and elegant Vintage/Empire-inspired design, characterized by rich crystal decoration that diffuses the light, creating evocative reflections. It consists of a circular chrome-plated metal band, embellished along its entire perimeter with square settings that hold faceted pyramid-shaped crystals. The main section is adorned with a dense perimeter row of smooth, transparent light blue/cobalt blue crystal teardrops, which add a distinctive and refined touch of color. Immediately behind and below the light blue row are chains and rows of faceted transparent crystals (some of which still bear the label of their original crystal manufacturer) in diamond or geometric shapes, arranged to converge downward. The bottom of the chandelier is crowned by a cascading structure formed of cylindrical elements in clear glass or crystal, culminating at the center with a spherical crystal ball that serves as the perfect focal point. Several light fixtures (lamp holders) are housed within the structure. When the bulbs are lit, the light passes through the various types of crystal (the upper pyramids, the blue teardrops, and the transparent facets), diffusing into the room in a soft, sparkling manner without direct glare. The electrical components have been completely replaced. Made in Italy, circa 1960. It includes a 40 cm gold chain with a rosette.
