An antique ciarla (or two-handled amphora) made of hand-painted majolica dating from the mid-19th century and attributed to the traditional and renowned ceramics workshop in Grottaglie, Puglia.Type: Vase/amphora with double ribbon handles and a bulbous body typical of folk pottery from southern Italy. Decorations: Stylized floral motifs in light blue on the body and neck, accompanied by a geometric band featuring a Greek fret or meander pattern and sponged-on touches of color typical of the period.Material: Glazed terracotta (majolica/faience) with visible signs of age and historical wear on the rim and base. Dimensions: H 33 cm / W 20 cm
