Antique flintlock pistol from the Louis XV–Louis XVI–18th-century period.
Smoothbore barrel with a fluted thunder-head section, followed by a rounded muzzle, featuring a 15-mm-caliber barleycorn front sight.
The interior of the barrel is clean.
The breech block is chiseled with friezes of geometric motifs.
Flintlock lock with a round body and a round hammer with a swan-neck design.
Cut steel fittings chiseled with small decorative motifs.
Walnut stock with a long, molded shaft, decorated with silver fillet inlay.
Steel cap with short struts, chiseled with a small, continuous decorative pattern.
Wooden stock with a light-colored horn tip.
Mechanism in perfect working order with two crisp, play-free cocking notches.
