A tall, so-called “3/4” sideboard in solid cherry wood, Louis XV period, second half of the 18th century.
The front features two molded and scalloped doors mounted on turned iron stiles.
Beautiful antique lock plates, cut and openwork, and an original, functional lock. The front is particularly decorative, featuring a carved rosette on the upper crossbar and an elegant carved vase motif in the center of the lower panel.
The lower crossbar features an ornate design, and the legs are slightly arched. The interior offers several levels of storage.
It has a beautiful, warm cherry wood patina, with signs of wear and period-appropriate historical restorations.
