Spectacular silver-plated bronze sculpture by Guirande-Joe Descomps, circa 1930.
It depicts a woman dancing with a thyrsus.
Rests on an octagonal Portor marble pedestal.
Signed “J D Guirande” on the dress.
55 cm × 66 cm with the base 21.7" and 26.0" with the base
16 cm or 6.30 inches deep, 36 cm or 14.17 inches wide
He exhibited at the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts.
