Large Signed Vase - Poterie d'Accolay
Large vase from the Accolay Pottery, a community of potters based in the village of Accolay, in the department
of Yonne. This production center was founded by four former students of Alexandre Kostanda. Active from 1945 to 1989.
Very grainy texture in shades of sandy yellow on the exterior, with a black glaze on the interior.
Signed “Accolay” on the reverse and numbered 77V, in perfect condition.
