Pair Of Light Columns By Ernesto Gismondi - Artemide Milano - Italy 2011

Rare pair of METACOLOR MWL (My White Light) light columns, produced by Artemide Milano and designed by Ernesto Gismondi (1931–2020), engineer, designer, and co-founder of Artemide.

The two pieces offered here were manufactured in 2011 and retain their original Artemide Milano labels, located beneath the bases. These labels specify the model METACOLOR MWL, the designer E. Gismondi, and that it was made in Italy.
Its monumental cylindrical shape, crafted from opal methacrylate (Plexiglas), diffuses perfectly uniform light. The system allows you to adjust the colors, the color temperature of white, and the light intensity.
Color: White/Blue/Orange/Red/Pink/Purple/Yellow.

The pair comes with its two original Artemide remote controls:

• RGB remote control for colors, lighting programs, and dynamic effects;
• My White Light (Kelvin) remote control for adjusting color temperature and light intensity.

With their size and sculptural presence, these columns are true elements of interior architecture, particularly well-suited for a contemporary interior, a gallery, a hotel, or a reception area.
