Two 19th-century Norman Cheese Strainers
The larger one, featuring two finger-shaped handles resting on three flattened round feet—which facilitate drainage—originates from the Eure department. The smaller, cylindrical one with a flared neck is entirely glazed in a beautiful green, typical of the Pré d’Auge region.
Good condition; visible wear on the one from the Eure, a visible chip on the one from the Pré d’Auge, and a few firing cracks.
