An exceptional and rare reclining bed, designed for people with limited mobility and featuring an adjustment system, by Carters (J. & A.) Ltd., a renowned London firm specializing in high-end medical and hospital furniture from the late Victorian and early Edwardian periods.

This elegant recliner features its original mahogany frame, mounted on brass casters, and is equipped with its original crank mechanism, allowing for independent adjustment of the backrest and leg rest for optimal comfort. The original manufacturer’s plate is still present, attesting to its authenticity.

This daybed retains its charming tartan upholstery adorned with decorative tassels, making it an ideal centerpiece for a classic interior, a library, a living room, a boutique hotel, or a luxury boutique.
