18th-century Bell-shaped Glass With A Double-knotted Stem
A glass with a wide, bell-shaped bowl, resting on a stem punctuated by two superimposed knots with slight fluting, set on a slender circular base. The glass is very thin, slightly lighter in color than it appears in the photographs, and contains numerous small air bubbles.
18th century, probably the first half.
Dimensions: height 12.5 cm – bowl diameter 7.8 cm – base diameter 6.8 cm – weight 68 grams.
In good overall condition, with no cracks or chips. A few slight signs of wear on the bowl, which are difficult to capture in photographs.
