a 74-gun ship, an iconic type of the 18th-century French fleet.

The engravings depict the carvings, figureheads, stem, stern, gunwales, and portholes with remarkable precision, illustrating the refinement of naval decoration under Louis XVI.The drawing is by Pierre Ozanne, the famous official naval draftsman, whose works today constitute a major documentary source for French maritime history.

Framed with a baguette frame.
