Xavier Boutigny (1870–1930).
"Still Life."
He studied under Philippe Zacharie and Edmond Lebel in Rouen. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1911 to 1914 and at the Salon des Indépendants until 1930. He contributed to the frescoes at the Petit Palais and became a professor at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rouen. He collaborated with the painter Paul Baudoüin, notably on the decoration of the Sainte Anne Chapel in Bolbec. He was a friend of Claude Monet and Joseph Delattre.
