Artist: Nardi
Oil on oak panel; a French painter, he is one of the masters of Provençal painting. A student of Frédéric Montenard and William Bouguereau, Tony Robert Fleury studied at the Académie Julian in Paris, which he left in 1907 to settle in Toulon. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français and the Salon des Indépendants from 1892 to 1895. His paintings are characterized by vibrant brushstrokes of color that capture the light of Provence
