Schneider “Campanules” Night Light
Rare night light by Schneider, circa 1922–1925.
The multilayered glass shade features a stylised campanula motif acid-etched in orange tones against a brown ground.
Unlike the examples most commonly encountered, the decoration is treated in reverse: the flowers and certain elements of the vegetal composition appear luminous, while the darker layer forms the background and outlines.
The glass shade rests on an original wrought-iron mount decorated with stylised foliage.
