Late 17th-century, early 18th-century onion-shaped bottle

Brown blown-glass bottle in perfect condition, no cracks, intact neck ...

Flat-topped round shape (wider than it is deep) without a flat bottom (for hanging). 
The neck ring was fused on while the glass was hot. The glass contains numerous bubbles, some of which are 2 cm in diameter. The neck contains three tapered bubbles measuring 5 cm.
