Large Bernardaud Limoges Planters With Asian Design
A magnificent Japanese-style planter, decorated in cobalt blue with cranes, birds of prey, and passerines in a naturalistic setting, accented by brown and bronze-colored panels. The base features facing dragons. The mark and style, which were very fashionable at the time, confirm that it was made during the Napoleon III era or in the late 19th century.
