A superb pair of armchairs by Paolo Buffa. He was one of the great Italian designers of the postwar era. He modernized Art Deco while blending it with neoclassical elements. The lines of this pair of armchairs are both clean and bold, featuring molded wooden armrests that extend forward and end in a graceful curve at the rear leg of the chair. The upholstery has been completely reupholstered with an ecru velvet fabric. Designed for comfort, these chairs truly deliver, and their inviting seats complement the aesthetic qualities of the pieces perfectly.
