It features five drawers, the fronts of which are adorned with a finely inlaid design depicting a flower-filled rural landscape, enlivened by a butterfly.
It rests on a saber-leg base, is adorned with two overhanging shelves, and features a concave top with cut corners.
Original handles, knobs, and key, with organic lines in gilded bronze.
A rare piece, combining the excellence of artistic cabinetmaking with the naturalistic sensibility characteristic of Emile Gallé.
Beautifully finished with wax.
