Description: A very elegant Art Nouveau clock by Cristallerie de Saint-Louis, model 1076, listed in the 1908 catalog.
Made of frosted glass with swirling motifs, it is adorned with a delicate decoration of rose garlands and gilded foliage in relief, characteristic of Saint-Louis production from this period.
The white dial, encircled in brass, is original. The mechanical movement is in perfect working order and keeps accurate time. The original label from the Bordeaux shop Bergeron Le Curino – Vve Le Coader & Fils, Porcelaines & Cristaux, 4 & 6 Rue des Lauriers in Bordeaux, remains on the base.
A well-documented piece of very high quality, both decorative and functional.
