Set Of 3 Signed Venini Vases Dated 2012 With Original Label

We are pleased to present this elegant set of three small Murano blown glass vases. These glass works of art are crafted in the historic Murano glassmaking tradition of Venini. Since 1921, Venini has been creating Murano glass furnishings that are synonymous with Italian quality and craftsmanship, appreciated and sought after by collectors around the world.

These three splendid vases bear the Venini signature on the bottom and the year 2012. All three also come with their original labels. These vases are part of the “Gemme” series, embellished with the “Balloton” and “Rigadin” designs created using historic hot-working techniques.

Blue vase: Height 15 cm / 5.90 inches; Diameter 8 cm / 3.14 inches. The “Gemme Rigadin” series is characterized by a slender, bulbous silhouette and an elongated neck. The fluted and twisted pattern visible on the body is the famous Rigadin (or twisted Rigadin), which creates sophisticated geometric reflections and spectacular refractions of light on the glass surface. Its intense blue color is inspired by the precious sapphire. The blue vase: Height 10.5 cm / 4.13 inches Diameter 8 cm / 2.75 inches The “Gemme Rigadin” series is characterized by a spherical, rounded design. The fluted and twisted pattern visible on the body is the famous Rigadin (or twisted Rigadin), which creates sophisticated geometric reflections and spectacular refractions of light on the surface of the glass. The green vase: Height 10 cm / 3.93 inches; Diameter 9 cm / 3.54 inches. The “Gemme Balloton” series features a flattened, onion-shaped design with a flared neck. Its green color is inspired by the precious emerald.
