18k White Gold "ruban" Diamond Ring, Late 20th Century

A 750 white gold (18-karat) ring with an expressive, sculptural design, featuring a surface formed of delicate, interlaced, and movable bands that evoke the silhouette of a ribbon. Entirely set with 1.12 carats of round diamonds using the pavé setting technique, these bands give the ring the appearance of a continuous flow of light. The spatial and asymmetrical composition lends it exceptional dynamism and volume. The ring bears the manufacturer’s hallmark and has been tested by the Lithuanian Assay Office.
