Schneider Jewelry Bowl With A Base Featuring Three Applied Balls; Formerly Daum Galle Art Deco
Artist: Charles Schneider
A charming two-tone frosted glass jewelry bowl by Schneider.
Once again, we see why Schneider was considered the "magician of colors." A beautiful clouded glass bowl in shades of yellow and raspberry. It was drawn and pinched while hot to create a slightly octagonal shape. The base features three black balls, also applied while the glass was hot. Very fine craftsmanship and beautiful colors.
25 cm in diameter, in very good condition, signed on the base’s stem, circa 1925
A truly beautiful Art Deco piece with lovely colors—perfect for displaying on a nice piece of furniture!
