A very pretty Second Empire-style frame in gilded bronze with a round profile. Its Marie-Louise motif is also crafted from bronze with a guilloché finish, featuring applied quivers at the corners. This frame is dominated by a Louis XVI-style pleated bow flanked by laurel leaves—the same laurel leaves that are woven into the border of this richly decorated piece.
