Daum Nancy Vase With Orientalist Decor – Nancy School, Circa 1900–1910
A charming antique blown-glass vase from the Daum Nancy factory, created during the Art Nouveau period.
Slightly flattened in shape, it features a delicate, continuous decorative band depicting an Orientalist landscape evoking the banks of the Nile, brought to life by palm trees, lush vegetation, and buildings bathed in soft light.
The subtly nuanced hues, applied over a satiny, marbled background, lend the piece a poetic atmosphere characteristic of Daum’s early 20th-century creations.
Signature “Daum Nancy” accompanied by the Cross of Lorraine, visible beneath the base.
