Old humorous watercolor dating from the middle of the 19th century. Scene of gender reversal depicting a zouane and a young woman in a crinoline. The soldier wears his companion's headdress while the young lady proudly carries a saber, the chéchia and smokes a cigar. The frame measures 33cm x 42cm. Bright colors. Good condition
