A pair of oil-on-panel paintings depicting a lively view of the Port of Trouville, seen from the Joinville pier, with the Union Bridge—destroyed in 1944—visible in the background. The other depicts a Norman fishing scene. In fair condition, with a small loss of paint on the lower edge of one painting. Fernand Herbo was a painter from Montmartre who settled in Honfleur. He was appointed court painter of the navy in 1944. 1905–1995.
