French artist and designer mainly active in the 1960s to 1980s.She is best known for her bronze sculptures inspired by nature: apples, pears, figs, pomegranates, artichokes and other fruits or vegetables, treated with great realism. His work is distinguished by a careful observation of natural forms and a mastery of patinas that gives his works both a realistic and poetic presence.
Although his career is still poorly documented and no catalogue raisonné has been published to date, the originality of his formal vocabulary and the quality of execution of his bronzes earned him a unique place among French artists of the decorative arts of the 20th century.
