This elongated octagonal tray stands out for the quality of its materials and the originality of its decoration:
The frame: Crafted from walnut with a beautiful natural grain and beveled corners characteristic of the Art Deco period.
The central tray: Protected by glass, it reveals a superb landscape scene of a lake with Japanese-inspired and Romantic influences (stylized trees rendered as silhouettes, a river, and a portico). The illustration is signed by the artist “LEMONDE” in the lower right corner.
The handles: Two magnificent side handles made of ornate wrought iron, decorated with scrolls and arabesques typical of the era, offering an excellent grip.
