A lakeside view featuring a mass of vegetation in the foreground, followed by a lake or waterway extending toward a final band of vegetation in the distance. The brushwork is compact and energetic, executed in broad vertical areas across the darker vegetation, while the water is rendered with wide horizontal strokes that feel both sculptural and emotionally charged.

The deliberately restrained palette, dominated by the pale tones of the water and echoed in the sky through a mirror-like effect, creates an almost monochromatic impression.
