Late 1800s English Victorian-style rotating bookcase in mahogany. The top features an elegant central radial inlay of lighter-colored bois de rose wood, surrounded by geometric fillet work along the edges. The body of the bookcase is divided into multiple levels and open compartments, ideal for holding books of various sizes. The sides are partially open, marked by slender, elegant vertical wooden slats (in the slat style) that serve as bookends, allowing the spines of the books to be seen from every angle.
