A Small Louis XV-style Chest Of Drawers With Marquetry.
A small Louis XV-style chest of drawers featuring floral marquetry in light wood on a rosewood background with scalloped panels.
Featuring three drawers on the front, it has a pleasingly curved profile on all three sides and is topped with its original Royal Red Flanders marble top. Dating from the second half of the 19th century, around 1880–1900, it is adorned with beautiful gilded bronze hardware, very much in keeping with the spirit of this style. Its three locks work perfectly with the key. Please note that its very reasonable price reflects an old crack on its left side (see photo).
We can arrange for insured shipping within mainland France for €150 (including tax).
