The Virgin Mary, wearing finely embroidered red and gold robes, is depicted with a distinctive hairstyle that ends in a transparent veil while holding the baby Jesus, who is positioned on a classically decorated base. In the background, we can recognize a typical Tuscan hilly landscape on the left, while on the right is depicted a small village with a fortress. The entire work is characterized by very intense and vivid colors. The work has been cleaned and the central slit of the panel has been restored.
