Meissen bisque lamp on a gilded bronze base. A bisque group depicting two peasants, inspired by Millet’s painting *The Angelus*. This bisque piece bears the mark of the Meissen-Saxony manufactory and is mounted on a chiseled bronze base supported by four ball-shaped feet. The electrical wiring is fully functional! It runs along the back of the figure through a branching design representing an oak tree. The light is diffused through a floral glass paste.
