Aldo Luongo, Poster For The 1998 World Cup
Aldo LUONGO, an Argentine painter born in 1941 in Buenos Aires, studied at the Buenos Aires Academy of Fine Arts before moving to the United States to play professional soccer for the New York Cosmos. Continuing to pursue his artistic ambitions, he went on to achieve success by creating works for various sporting events, notably as an Official Artist of the Olympic Games, World World Cup Artist, and Sports Artist of the Year in the 1990s and 2000s.
