Work signed “Louis Aplada” in the lower right corner. Bears a handwritten inscription in the lower right corner: “1st Prize, Marseille School of Fine Arts, awarded to student Louis Aplada, year 1896, Aug. Anbert, Director,” attesting to his academic distinction.
Condition: paper slightly sun-faded, one tear. Preserved in its frame.
