Louis XIII-style sideboard in fruitwood – 17th century

A charming, rustic sideboard made of solid fruitwood, dating from the 17th century. With its compact proportions and beautiful golden patina, this piece fits just as well in a country home as it does in a contemporary interior seeking authenticity.

The front features a waist drawer above two paneled doors adorned with diamond-pointed lozenge motifs, typical of regional furniture from this period. The antique hardware, exposed hinges, and wrought-iron lock plate enhance its authentic character.

The interior offers practical storage space, ideal for tableware, linens, or any other use. The sides are also paneled, and the piece rests on straight legs connected by a molded baseboard.

The sideboard is in good condition, with a sound and stable structure. It features a beautiful original patina as well as signs of wear and minor imperfections that attest to its age without detracting from its charm.

Dimensions:

  • Width: 88 cm
  • Height: 85 cm
  • Depth: 42 cm

A simple and authentic piece of furniture, perfect for adding a warm and timeless touch to a kitchen, entryway, living room, or country home.
