Spectacular decoration featuring the young Hercules and a serpent.
In Greek mythology, Hera, Zeus’s jealous wife, sent two snakes to kill the young Hercules, son of Alcmene and Zeus.
But the young Hercules was too strong for the snakes and killed them with his own hands.
