A Group Of Four Columns, A Spanish Work From The Second Half Of The 16th Century.

A set of four small wooden columns, carved, gilded, and painted in bright, polychrome colors, adorned with cherubs and motifs evoking hanging fabrics in the form of cascading strips. Each column is equipped with a metal stand specially designed to ensure its display and stability.

The pieces have undergone meticulous restoration work aimed at both stabilizing and consolidating the polychrome paint, as well as treating them against wood-boring insects, thereby ensuring their proper preservation.
