An elegant Louis XVI-style center desk in inlaid rosewood veneer, made in the early 20th century and bearing its original plaque from the prestigious Maison Soubrier, located at 14 rue de Reuilly in Paris, renowned for the quality of its period furniture.

This desk opens with a belt drawer, equipped with its original lock and key, both of which are in perfect working order.
The top is adorned with a superb butterfly-wing marquetry design, highlighted by a framing border.
The apron is decorated with a frieze of geometric marquetry, while the gilded bronze finials and rings highlight the elegant tapered and fluted legs, characteristic of the Louis XVI style.
Thanks to its meticulous finish on all sides, this desk can be placed in the center of a room.
