- Solid silver doctor's pocket watch (pulsometer) by J. Auricoste, model Aural, designed to measure heart rate.
- This timepiece features a chronograph system with a pulse scale.
- To use it, simply start the chronograph by pressing the pusher located atop the winding crown, count 25 pulse beats on the
   patient's wrist, and stop the chronograph hand using the same pusher.
- The hand then points to a red or black figure on the dial's outer rim, indicating the patient's actual pulse rate.
- J. Auricoste served as an official watchmaker to the Navy, the State, and the Observatory; based at 10 Rue de la Boétie in
   Paris, the company participated in numerous World's Fairs, including Antwerp (1894), Paris (1900), Hanoi (1902), St. Louis,
   USA (1904), Liège (1906), and Brussels (1910).
- The company won numerous major awards at these exhibitions, including a gold medal in Paris in 1900.
- The company remains in business today, continuing to manufacture watches for the military and private clients.
– French fineness and import hallmark for watch cases of foreign origin (swan mark, 800/1000 purity), used in France from
   1893 to 1970; found on the pendant head, inner cuvette, dust cover, and watch case rim, featuring the letter "P" (assay office
   mark for Pontarlier, Doubs department) inside the swan hallmark.
- The swan hallmark may also have been applied when the item passed through an auction house, allowing the precious metals
   assay office to verify the purity of the solid silver pocket watch case.
– Smooth solid silver watch case; pocket watch case identification number 109600 and the letter  T  engraved on the inner
    cuvette and dust cover.
– Slightly domed and beveled mineral crystal.
– White enamel dial signed Aural, J. Auricoste," with Fabriqué en Suisse (Swiss-made) at the six o'clock position and the phrase
   graduée pour une observation de 25 pulsations" (Graduated for a 25-pulse observation) painted in black at the twelve o'clock
    position.
– Arabic numerals for the 24-hour scale painted in red; Arabic numerals for standard hours and minutes painted in black  
    railway-style minute track; Arabic numerals ranging from 30 to 200 painted in red around the outer edge of the white enamel
    dial.
– Gilt steel Stuart style hands for the minutes and pear-shaped hands for the hours.
- Blued steel central chronograph-tachymeter sweep-seconds hand.
- 30-minute totalizer sub-dial at 12 o'clock with railway-track scale and blued steel hand.
- Small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock with railway-track scale and gilt steel hand.
- Gilt brass, ruby-jeweled lever movement; movement serial number 172010 engraved on the movement; polished steel screws,
   parts, and regulator assembly positioned above the balance wheel.
- Letter "A" engraved on the movement, indicating it was intended for a solid silver case.
- Chronograph-tachymeter activated by pressing the monopusher button atop the winding crown; stop and reset functions
   operated by pressing the same button.
- Crown-wound; time-setting performed by pressing the small pusher located at the top right, next to the crown, while turning
   the crown clockwise.
- In perfect working order; serviced by a watchmaker.
- Art Nouveau period, circa 1895–1920.

   item was dropped off at the post office, or the waybill issued by the carrier.
- All sales made on my Proantic website are covered by insurance purchased from La Poste at the time
   the item or package is shipped, covering loss or theft up to the purchase price paid by the buyer.
- La Poste does not cover breakage or damage to the item or object; only theft and loss are covered for
   package shipping.
- Additional insurance covering breakage of the item, up to the price paid by the buyer on my Proantic website
 , is always purchased from the carrier if the item is shipped by them.
- The buyer is subject to legal penalties if they do not return the item within this 14-day period and in good condition.
- A refund for the item will be issued within 14 days of the seller’s receipt of the item or package
   and after the condition of the item has been verified.
- If the item or product is found not to be in its original condition, the sale will be considered final with no
   refund, and the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.
- The refund for the item or product will be issued via the same payment method (check, bank transfer, PayPal) that
   the buyer used when making the purchase on my Proantic sales site.
- The buyer must take the necessary steps on PayPal themselves to request a refund if they paid via PayPal, specifically by
   going to the  Disputes section and opening a dispute case involving themselves, PayPal, and the seller.
